Clutch driven plate structure

A clutch driven plate consists of a housing, bearings, friction surfaces, springs, fastening bolts, friction plates, etc. The friction surface is mainly used to transmit the engine power to the shaft, the spring is used to push the friction plate to rotate, and the friction surface realizes the engine output.

The clutch pressure plate is attached to the engine flywheel and rotates with the engine. The driven plate (friction plate) is splined to the transmission input shaft via a spline groove. When the friction plate rotates, the transmission input shaft also rotates. When the pressure plate pushes the driven plate due to the action of the spring, power is transmitted, but when the pressure plate returns to the position where the clutch pedal is depressed, the driven plate is weakly separated. ; A state in which the pressure plate spring is not fully effective even when the clutch is lightly depressed is also called a half-clutch or half-linkage.

1. Starting control: The clutch driven plate controls engine starting, converts engine power into vehicle body movement, and realizes engine starting.

2. Shift control: The clutch driven plate controls the shift of engine speed. By changing the friction of the friction plate, the engine speed can be changed, and the engine speed can be changed.

3. Parking Control: Engine parking can be controlled through the clutch driven plate. By reducing the friction of the friction plate, it is possible to lower the engine speed and stop the engine.
